Alabama Drivers License Practice Test Description

Renewing your Alabama Drivers License? Just moved into the state? Walk into the DMV with confidence! Taking our AL DPS Practice Test can help you pass your test the first time.

Keep calm and practice!

Whether you are new to "Alabama the Beautiful," or have been driving in the state all your life and faithfully renew your drivers license every four years, it pays to spend a little extra time preparing for the Alabama Drivers License Test. With our free Alabama DPS Practice Test, you have up to five opportunities to practice answering exactly the same type of questions that will be on the written knowledge test that you will have to take at the DMV.

The DPS Practice Test consists of 25 multiple choice questions. Unlike the actual Alabama Drivers License Test, our system will let you know immediately after you have submitted your answer to each question whether or not your response is correct. If you happen to answer a question incorrectly, you will be given the correct answer and shown exactly where to look in the Alabama DPS Drivers Handbook Manual to find the right answer. You are then given the option to either retry the question or move on to the next one.

When you have been driving for years without committing any driving violations (or at least not getting caught!) and passing your renewal test year after year, it is easy to lull yourself into a sense of complacency, that you know it all. Most of it is just common sense, right? Well, mostly. Yet the Alabama DPS Drivers Handbook Manual was last updated in September 2014. Is it really worth taking the chance that there may have been some changes in the law since you last took your test?

In addition to five free practice tests and the Alabama DPS Drivers Handbook Manual, our website has other useful features, like Tips & Hints for passing both your written test and your road test. There are also sections for frequently asked questions, DMV cheat sheets and a link to save money on car insurance.

Walk into the DMV with confidence. Take our DMV practice test and pass the first time!
