The LA Written Test consists of 40 questions. You will need to answer 32 of those 40 questions correctly in order to pass.

If you pass your LA Written Test, you will receive your LA Learner's Permit. You will need to maintain your Learner's Permit for 180 days before you can take the LA Driving Exam.
When you apply for your learner's permit, you should bring your birth certificate, two forms of identification, your Social Security Number and a certificate for a Driver's Education course.
