No. You are not allowed to use your OH Digest of Motor Vehicle Laws or any other study materials while you take your OH Permit Test.
No. You do not have to take or pass a drug test to be able to apply or receive an OH Driver's License.
If you fail your OH Permit Test you will be able to retake your exam whenever you are ready. Don't rush retaking your exam. Study and carefully strengthen your laws of OH traffic laws. If you are 18 years old or older, you will receive your OH Permit. You will not have to attend or complete a Driver's Education course before taking your road test. If you are under 18, once you have passed your OH Permit Test, you will receive your OH Permit. You must wait 6 months before you can take your OH Driving Exam. During this time you should complete 24 hours of classroom education, 8 hours of driving time with a certified driving instructor and you must complete 50 hours of driving time, 10 of which must be completed at night. Whenever you are driving you must be accompanied by a licensed adult.
In OH, the minimum age requirement to begin the licensing process is 15 1/2 years old.
You will need to bring with your proof of your legal name, your date of birth, your residency in the state of OH and proof of your U.S. citizenship or lawful presence in the U.S.
You must pay a fee of $22 to able to take your OH Permit Test.
If you are under 18, your legal guardian or parent must accompany you. Your legal guardian or parent will need to co-sign your permit packet. To give yourself the best chance of passing your OH Permit Test you should study all chapters and sections of the OH Digest of Motor Vehicle Laws. The exam will test your knowledge of speed limits, pavement markings, traffic signs, defensive driving, parking situations, intersections and many more basic rules of the road.
The OH Permit Test consists of 2 sections each of 20 questions. You will need to answer 15 questions from each section correctly in order to pass your OH Permit Test.
