The official Georgia motorcycle permit test is not difficult to pass as long as you study the DMV manual and make use of the Motorcycle Permit practice test that is available to you.

An Overview of Georgia Motorcycle Permit Practice Tests

Few people enjoy taking tests, but you'll be excited to pass this test when it's the only thing standing between you and your dream of driving a motorcycle. The good news is that it is not hard to pass the motorcycle permit test. Here is an online Georgia motorcycle permit practice test that can serve as an effective study tool for the big day. Practice tests are a great tool to use because they contain real questions from past permit tests. This helps you to learn how questions will be worded on the actual exam and what information from the Georgia DDS Motorcycle Operator Manual will be the most important for you.

How Practice Tests Can Help You Earn Your Georgia Motorcycle Permit

New motorcyclists who intend to take the permit test must be at least 17 years of age. You will also need the consent of a parent or guardian and a completion certificate from an official Driver?s Education program unless you are over 18. The test is made up of 25 random questions that are based on the information found in the motorcycle operator manual. You?ll need to get 20 or more questions right in order to earn your permit. There is also a driving test portion that you will need to pass. The only way to prepare for that part of the test is to practice driving your motorcycle under the supervision of a licensed motorcyclist who is over the age of 21. However, both the written and driving portions of the motorcycle permit test can be bypassed if you enroll in and successfully complete the Georgia Motorcycle Safety Program course.

While you have your motorcycle permit, there will be a number of restrictions that you must adhere to. These include rules that prohibit you from driving on any highways, driving at nighttime and having passengers with you on your motorcycle. The Georgia Helmet Law also requires motorcyclists and passengers who are under 18 to wear state-approved helmets when the motorcycle is in operation.
