Georgia Motorcycle Permit Practice Test Description

Obtaining a Georgia motorcycle permit comes with the added requirement of passing several driving tests. To help increase your chances of passing, take our motorcycle permit practice test.

Info on Passing the Motorcycle Permit Test

If you are 17 or older, you have the opportunity of earning a Georgia motorcycle permit. This permit will grant you the ability to drive a motorcycle with a few restrictions until the duration of the permit period has passed. Only then can you earn a Georgia drivers license. There are two basic forms of testing you will be presented with, which includes a written exam and an on-cycle exam. While the on-cycle exam puts your motorcycle driving skills to the test on the road, the written exam is based on your knowledge of Georgia motorcycle driving rules as well as common traffic signs. These rules may pertain to everything from signalling other drivers when passing a vehicle to avoiding a traffic collision when driving on dangerous road conditions.

You will discover that the motorcycle permit practice test has been devised as a means for prospective cyclists to practice for the driving rules portion of the motorcycle permit test. By taking it multiple times, there is a wide range of notable benefits that should help users pass the permit test. For one, it will help to familiarize you with the written exam as the questions cover the same content, in the same format. It should at least give you more confidence come test day.

The practice test contains a grand total of 12 questions. You will need to score a rate of 80 percent or higher if you wish to pass. Even if you fail your first time, you can take the practice test as many times as you see fit. In comparison, the motorcycle permit test consists of 25 questions, also with a passing rate of 80 percent or more. If you wish to study more for the written exam, the Georgia Motorcycle Operators Manual contains all of the relevant information. The Georgia road signs and signals practice test is also a great resource for additional practice.
