Obtaining your Hawaii teen permit is the first step in the Graduated Driver?s Licensing (GDL) program. Taking the HI permit practice tests will arm you with the knowledge to pass the actual DMV permit test and be a responsible Hawaii driver.
Getting a learner's permit is perhaps the most exciting time in a teenager's life. Before Hawaii teens can get their hands on a learner's permit, they must pass a written exam and a vision test. Taking our practice tests ahead of the actual written exam will help you familiarize yourself with the test content and format. Our practice tests are designed to help you gauge your knowledge and prepare you to pass the DMV permit test with ease.
The Hawaii DMV permit test quizzes teens on a wide array of material including road rules, safe driving techniques, and traffic signs and signals. The practice test zeros in on road rules and road signs where teens are questioned on topics such as passing rules and pavement markings. It's important to not only memorize these rules for the test but more importantly to thoroughly understand these rules as you prepare yourself for the road.
By the time your test date arrives, our HI permit practice test will have given you the confidence to successfully obtain your Hawaii driving permit. The actual test consists of 30 questions, and you must answer at least 24 correctly to earn a minimum passing score of 80 percent. The test questions are asked in a random order, so taking our practice tests multiple times will ensure that you know the material. The Hawaii DMV Drivers Handbook has all of the information you need to know to pass the written exam. Additionally, the Hawaii DMV Road Signs and Signals Practice Test will help you memorize road signs and what each one means to help you prepare for the road sign test questions.
