About the Missouri Motorcycle Permit Practice Test

To prepare for the Missouri motorcycle permit test, you will need to have an intricate understanding of Missouri's road rules and regulations, and this practice test will best test your knowledge.

According to Missouri law, you may test for your motorcycle permit in Missouri if you are at least 15 and a half years old with parental consent. Because 25 random questions from the state driving manual make up the motorcycle permit test, you should study both laws for motorcycle riders and traditional vehicles.

How the Missouri Permit Practice Test Helps You

In Missouri, you will need to stay in accordance with certain restrictions once you've attained your Missouri motorcycle permit; if you're under the age of 16, you must stay within 50 miles of your home, ride only motorcycles with an engine size of less than 250 cc and complete a motorcycle rider training course. You will also need to pass an on-the-road test for completing your motorcycle permit test. With so many regulations to follow, this practice test gives you the opportunity to dedicate a portion of your time to studying for the written exam.

Similar to the actual exam, the practice exam consists of 25 questions, and you must answer at least 21 of them correctly in order to pass. The motorcycle permit test will randomize and select the questions you will answer, but you must ensure you know the Missouri Helmet Law: All riders and passengers must wear a helmet at all times. Additionally, the Missouri motorcycle permit forbids driving at night or carrying passengers, so be sure to memorize these two points above all else. You will receive real-time feedback during the practice test, which will detail the specific page number in the Motorcycle Handbook containing information relating to the question. The practice test may be taken an infinite number of times and lacks a time limitation.

Before you head to the Missouri Department of Revenue to take your permit test, you will also benefit from taking our additional Missouri Road Sign Practice Test. If you lose or misplace your Motorcycle License handbook, a digital copy is available online for your review.
