Ohio Drivers License Practice Test Description
Obtaining your Ohio drivers license is the final step in becoming a full-fledged driver. You will need to first pass a few tests, which you can better prepare for with our BMV Practice Test.
Passing Your Ohio Drivers License Test
While these Ohio drivers license exams can be difficult, you will find that with the proper study and prep time, you will easily pass. There are two tests you will face, a written and an on-the-road examination. The written portion covers the rules of the road and traffic signs. Our OH BMV practice test focuses entirely on the rules of the road portion.
Both the practice test and Ohio drivers license test are comprised of random questions. By completing the practice test multiple times and studying the correct material beforehand, you will go into the test prepared for any question. As an example, these questions might focus on what to do when driving in bad weather conditions or how to properly pass another vehicle. Such information can be found within the Digest of Ohio Motor Vehicle Laws. By studying this handbook and taking the practice test, you will find that the questions will eventually come easy to you.
The BMV practice test consists of 20 different questions. In order to pass, you will need to correctly answer a total of 16 or more, for a passing percentage of at least 80 percent. This is the same amount of questions you will be presented with on the Ohio drivers license test, the sole difference being that you will only need to achieve a rate of 75 percent or better in order to pass. The questions on both the OH BMV practice test and the actual exam are multiple choice. If you would like to practice for the road signs portion of your exam as well, take our road signs and signals practice test.
