Missouri Drivers License Practice Test Description

Taking a Missouri drivers license test is easy after using practice tests to familiarize yourself with the material. New drivers can study for a permit exam by taking and passing practice tests.

Using the DOR Practice Test to Obtain a Permit

Most high school students look forward to being old enough to drive, but earning a driver's license is not automatic when you reach a certain age. To receive a Missouri drivers license, you must first prove you are familiar with the rules of the road. Teens and new drivers need to review the Teen Permit Handbook and prepare to be tested on the content. Taking our MO DOR practice test helps you prepare for the real thing.

This test may be a little easier than the ones in school because you only need a score of 80 percent or better to get a good grade when taking the DOR practice test or the real thing. There are 25 multiple-choice questions that will quiz you on the rules of the road in Missouri. Losing 30 points, or failing to answer 20 questions right, means that more studying is required, but you can take the test more than once. The questions change each time you take it so you can be prepared for a wide range of driving topics.

If you need a refresher and get an answer wrong, the MO DOR practice test will give you a little information after each question. This helps you review or learn the correct answer. If you are trying to earn a teen permit, you will not have to take a separate test to identify road signs until you renew your license. However, some questions about road signs may appear on your test, so you can take the road signs practice test to hone your knowledge. These tests can also help you familiarize yourself with what is expected on the road before you have hands-on experience.
