Oregon Motorcycle Permit Practice Test Description

The Oregon drivers manual covers the material you must know to get your Oregon motorcycle permit. Enhance your knowledge with the motorcycle permit practice test.

How Free Practice Tests Help You Study

Before you can obtain your motorcycle permit in Oregon, you are required to pass a vision test in addition to the road test and motorcycle permit test. While you are probably confident in passing the first two, it is common to feel anxious when facing the written test. After reading through the Oregon drivers manual, you may get surprising results from taking free quizzes on the material. Learning material in order from a book can be different from answering random questions that present the material in a different way. Accessing practice tests helps you to reinforce what you have learned from the manual so that no matter the order or phrasing, you can respond correctly.

You'll see 20 questions on the motorcycle permit practice test. Not all the practice tests are alike. Questions are posed in random order. To pass, you must answer at least 80 percent of the questions correctly. You are told immediately after each question whether your response is correct and if it is not, the right answer is given to you. The practice tests cover a wide range of material including subjects that are more difficult to learn such as the distance you should maintain between from other vehicles and how close to an intersection you are allowed to park. It also includes information on insurance requirements, how to handle an emergency situation and safety measures to take when on the road in bad weather.

Click here to check out the road signs and signals practice test and other resources. You can also access the other practice tests and take them as many times as you wish until you are comfortable with the material. Taking multiple tests can give you the confidence to pass the written test easily the first time and is more useful than studying just the manual. Knowing all the rules of the road and in any given situation makes you a safer, more confident driver.
