How do I get a CDL in my state?
To get a CDL in your state, you must meet your state’s age requirements—typically, you’ll need to be at least 18 years old (21 years old if you plan to drive across state lines). You must first earn a commercial learner’s permit (CLP) and complete a commercial driver training course in order to practice driving.
