CDL Class A Commercial Permit Practice Test 3
America's trucking industry is not slowing down any time soon. Whether you intend to work for a motor carrier company, private carrier firm, industry suppliers, or shippers, you are well on your way to an exciting journey ahead. Let nothing stop your quest to become the greatest truck driver of your time.
It all starts with one simple step. Passing all your tests and acquiring the right CDL coupled with proper endorsements. This can be a scary journey if you don't have someone reliable and trustworthy to hold your hand. Failing your Knowledge Test at the DMV will cost you extra money, time, and effort that you would otherwise use to be productive elsewhere. We are here to make sure that doesn't happen.
The DMV's driver knowledge tests assess how well you understand traffic laws, road signs, and safety rules. Through this test, the DMV can tell whether you are really ready to operate Class A vehicles with strict adherence to the laws of the land. You will then pay a certain fee to take the test whether you pass or fail.
Before making that appointment to take the test, be sure of what you are confronting. Adequate preparation, therefore, is necessary. We have made that easier and available for you by providing a well-reasoned and deeply enriched Knowledge Practice Test that features all the subject areas that the DMV will be examining. Our practice test is inspired by the CDL handbook itself, which means that you can be sure you are only covering the legit material.
Ready to take the practice test? Start here.
Passing this test prepares you for a vibrant career ahead. It is worth noting, however, that you will need to keep taking different tests and earn different CDL endorsements in order to sustain the career and remain competitive out there. Whenever you are ready for these additional tests, we guarantee you a safe landing ground as well.
We value your career wellbeing and promise to equip your journey every step of the way!
Is truck driving a lucrative career?
Yes, it is. According to the American Trucking Association (ATA), truck drivers' pay has significantly climbed due to the rising demand for freight transportation services. As demand shoots, competition for the already scarce truck drivers grows fiercer. These factors force the price of a qualified truck driver to increase.
The latest data reveals how trucking companies are dealing with an increasingly tight market for truck drivers by opting to boost the drivers' pay and enhancing other benefit packages to retain these highly sought-after drivers.
ATA's most recent survey placed a national truckload driver's median pay at more than $ 53,000, which represents a 15% increase from their previous survey. On the other hand, a private fleet driver took home a median salary of a whopping $ 86,000 representing a gain of 18%.
As the economy expands, expect the demand for trucking services to skyrocket as well. Where will that shift find you? Will you be readily armed with your commercial driving permit?
