Your Maryland MVA Permit Test Shows You Are Going To Be A Safe Driver

Your Maryland teen permit test displays your knowledge of the state traffic laws, road signs and driver safety rules. Learning all of this new information will be easier with our practice tests.

Our MD Permit Practice Test Helps You Get Prepared

As the date draws closer for you to get your Maryland driving permit, you might be hearing horror stories about the knowledge exam. While it is true that almost 50 percent of first-time test takers fail on the first attempt, you do not need to be in that group. However, passing will require some study time and mastering of new information. The questions on your knowledge test come from a single source, the state's driver's handbook. This handy book can be picked up at your MVA office or downloaded here so you do not need your parent to drive you to the local office. Carefully reading each section and marking any information you want to go back and study is an important first step. You might think you need to know everything before taking a practice test, but that is not true. You can take our tests as often as you like.

Every time you take a practice exam on our system, a new test is randomly generated. Meaning each time you take a practice test, you could find new questions or subjects. Your actual exam will cover traffic laws, driver safety rules and road signs, but our tests help you learn the traffic laws. You might see a question about who turns first at a four-way stop or when it is okay to turn right at a traffic signal with a red light. You will not need to wait to finish the practice test to see the correct answer. It will display after you submit your answer.

You will need to answer at least 22 out of 25 questions correctly on your knowledge exam to pass and get your permit. The thing is that the test is timed. You will have 20 minutes to answer all of the questions. This is where our practice tests work to your benefit. If you have been taking our practice exams regularly, you will already be in the habit of answering multiple-choice question. If you are feeling good about the traffic laws, why not take a test now?
