Passing your motorcycle permit test is essential if you would like to freely drive your motorcycle. In order to pass with relative ease, take our permit practice test in preparation.

Motorcycle Permit Practice Test Description

When preparing for the New York permit test, there are a myriad of materials that you can use to study with. First of all, it's important to take our practice test in order to better your chances of obtaining a New York motorcycle permit. On test day, you will be presented with a written test that encompasses two sections known as the driving rules portion and a smaller portion that centers on road signs and traffic signals.

The driving rules aspect of your motorcycle permit test is where our practice test puts its focus on. If you would like to brush up on your knowledge of the road signs you will need to prepare for, you can also take our Road Signs and Signals practice test. The questions on the permit test will focus on a variety of different driving situations, as well as what to do when you're operating a motorcycle. This includes everything from what you should know when in a drinking and driving situation to how to react in certain weather conditions, all of which are essential when driving a motorcycle.

Preparation Tips for the Motorcycle Permit Test

You will be quizzed on these driving rules and must correctly answer a total of 9 out of 12 questions, or 80 percent, to pass the practice test. The permit test is similar to this, though only requires the correct answers to 14 out of 20 questions. If you find that you are rusty and can only answer a few questions correctly, that's perfectly acceptable, as you have the ability to take the practice test as many times as you see fit. This motorcycle permit practice test will give you the confidence you need to walk in on test day and pass the written exam on your first try. As this quiz is similar to that of the final test, due primarily to the subject matter of the questions and the multiple-choice format, you will find that taking the test is easier than beforehand. Read through the NYS Drivers Manual to give yourself a better understanding of the motorcycle driving rules you might see on this test.
