Colorado Drivers License Practice Test Description

Taking a free CO DMV Practice test gives you the confidence to pass your Colorado Drivers License Test on the first attempt, saving you time and money.

How to Pass Your Colorado Drivers License Test With Confidence

If you are getting pre-exam nerves over taking your written Colorado Drivers License Test, investing a few minutes taking our DMV Practice Test could give you the confidence you need to pass it on your first attempt.

Even if you have been driving for years and believe you know everything there is to know about Colorado road signs and traffic laws, having a quick peak at a DMV practice test can help you pick up an extra correct answer or two. When you are only allowed to get 5 out of 25 questions wrong, those extra points could meant the difference between walking out of the DMV test center with a Colorado Drivers License or having to return to the DMV office and take it again.

The questions on the DMV Practice Test are formatted exactly the same as the questions on the actual test. All of the questions are multiple choice, although some of them ask you to choose true or false answers out of a set of possible responses. Sometimes there is more than one true or false answer on the list.

After you submit your answer to each question, you will be told right away if the answer was correct; if you get the answer wrong, you will be told the correct answer. You will also be shown which section of the Colorado Driver Handbook contains the information to help you get the question right next time.

All of the questions on the actual test are based on the Driver Handbook. You could be asked about driving while under the influence, how to handle a blowout or Colorado's Graduated License Law. Not only will reading through the handbook will make sure you have all the information you will need to pass your test, it will also help you to be a safer driver.

There are five practice tests and you can take any one or all of them as many times as you like. The tests and the handbook are all free! When the time comes to take your written test for real, you will be ready!
