Maryland Drivers License Practice Test Description
As the day approaches for you to get your first driver's license, you might become apprehensive about the required knowledge exam and road test. With our MD MVA Practice Test, you don't have to worry because you will have access to all the tools needed to ensure you pass your test the first time. Start by picking up a copy of your Maryland driver's handbook at an MVA office or download the file. All the questions on your knowledge exam originate from the sections of this driver's handbook. Reading through the sections and noting any new concepts you are unsure of is an important first step in your learning process.
After you have spent some time studying the driver's handbook, it is time to take your first practice test. Our practice exams consist of 25 multiple-choice questions. While your knowledge exam covers three major areas, including driver safety rules, traffic laws and road signs, our tests teach you the traffic laws. You might see a question concerning the number of people you can have in the car if you are driving with a permit or the speed limit in a parking lot when there is not a posted sign. You can take our practice tests as often as you like and find new questions each time.
The Maryland knowledge exam is actually a timed test. You will need to answer all 25 questions in 20 minutes. This will add pressure to answer quickly and not make mistakes. If you have been taking our practice exams all along, you will already be in a rhythm of answering questions quickly and efficiently. You will need to answer at least 22 of the questions correctly and score 85 percent to go on to take your road test, but if you prepared by passing a practice test, you're sure to be one step closer to your Maryland drivers license.
