Preparing for the Maine Motorcycle Permit Test

Motorcycle ownership comes with increased responsibility. Our website will help you prepare for your motorcycle permit test as well as for life on the road. We offer articles and blogs with tips and valuable information that pertain to the laws of motorcycle operation such as the rules for sharing a lane with another motorcycle on the highway. We also offer all the essential study tools to help you become prepared and confident to obtain your Maine motorcycle permit.

The first thing that you should do in order to prepare for your motorcycle permit test is to obtain a copy of the Maine BMV Motorcycle Handbook. For your convenience, a copy of the Maine BMV Motorcycle Handbook is easily found on our site.

Studying the motorcycle manual is a good start for your preparations, but an essential tool to help you simulate the test taking environment is a motorcycle permit practice test. We offer five different motorcycle permit practice tests in an effort to help you be ready when it comes time to take the test for your Maine motorcycle permit.

Motorcycle Permit Practice Test Description

Our motorcycle permit practice test is based on the motorcycle permit test that you will be required to take on test day. It consists of 25 multiple choice questions that are derived from the Maine BMV Motorcycle Handbook. After answering each question, you will instantly be shown whether you have answer correctly or incorrectly along with an explanation of the correct answer.

To help you be fully prepared, we provide you with a synopsis of your results as soon as you have completed the test. You will see a list of all 25 questions on your practice test along with their corresponding correct answers and additional information. You will also be given a score that will reflect whether or not you passed had this practice had been the real thing.

You may also be required to take a test on traffic signals and road signs, as well as the standard Maine BMV driver's permit test. These tests are conveniently located with the rest of our Maine BMV practice tests.
