Passing Your Test To Get Your Connecticut Teen Permit
Getting your Connecticut driving permit is the first step in earning a regular driver's license and the freedom to go where you want. With our practice tests, you can make studying easier.
Our CT Permit Practice Test Makes You An Expert
As your 16th birthday draws near, you are getting excited by the chance to learn to drive for the first time. Of course, you will need to pass the knowledge exam. You might be hearing all sorts of stories about the exam from friends who have already taken it. One might argue it was too easy, and they should not have wasted a minute studying. Another friend might say the test is a nightmare, and there is not enough hours in the day for all the studying you need to do. The truth is somewhere in the middle. You will need to spend some time studying because all of the material is new to you. Your DMV permit test is made up from questions found in your driver's manual including road signs, driver safety rules and traffic laws. When you are ready to start studying, download a copy of the driver's manual.
With so much new information to learn, you might want to start by reading your manual and then taking one of our practice tests. Our quizzes are 25 questions long and allow you to see the correct answer as you work through it. For your benefit, we also list the page and section in your driver's manual where you read more about the correct answer. You might find questions concerning who has the right of way at a four-way stop or how much space you need to pass another car. Each time you take our test, you'll find new questions.
On the day of the test, you will have an advance appointment to take it. Making the appointment online is easy. Your knowledge exam will consist of 25 questions just like our practice exams. You will take the exam on a computer and select the best answer from four to six possible answers. Answering 20 questions correctly is needed to obtain your permit.
