Learning To Drive Requires A Connecticut Teen Permit
You need to display a basic understanding of traffic laws and safety rules before receiving a Connecticut driving permit. You can enhance your study time with our practice tests.
Our CT Permit Practice Test Is Your Best Study Tool
If you are getting ready to take your DMV permit test, you must be getting close to learning how to drive a car. Connecticut wants to know you understand the safety rules, traffic laws and road signs. The permit test was created to show an understanding of this information. While much of the information will be new to you, the test is not difficult or tricky. The good news is that everything you need to know is already written in the driver's manual. In fact, the actual knowledge exam questions are created from information found inside the manual. You might have already picked up a copy from your local office. If not, you can get your own electronic copy now. With your manual downloaded, it is time to start studying.
After thumbing through the manual and noting anything interesting, you are ready for your first practice run. On our practice tests, the questions are randomly generated from a pool of possibilities. This allows you to answer questions you have not seen prior to each time you take a practice test. One time, you might be answered to identify the times when you can legally and safely pass a schools. The next time, you could be asked about the distance needed to safely pass another car in a 55 mile per hour speed zone. As you work your way through the 25 questions, you will see the correct answers each time you submit yours. In addition to the correct answer, we tell you the page number and section in your manual where you can go back and read about any questions you missed.
You will need to make an advance appointment to take your knowledge exam. You can do this easily online. Just like our practice tests, you will be asked 25 multiple-choice questions on your knowledge exam. In order to be awarded your permit, you will need to answer at least 20 of the questions correctly. The best time to get started is now. So open your handbook and then take your first practice test.
