Maryland Drivers License Practice Test Description

A Maryland drivers license opens up a world of opportunity for you, and if you're preparing to take your Maryland drivers license test, you might be a little concerned about the knowledge exam. However, with a little study time and mastery of the practice exam, you will have all the tools needed to pass the test on your first try. Before taking your first practice exam, you will want to locate a copy of your state's driver's manual. The easiest way to get a personal copy is to dowload the Maryland Drivers Handbook onto your home computer. Believe it or not, the answer to every possible question asked on your knowledge exam is in this manual.

Once you have your manual in hand and have reviewed the main ideas, you're ready for an MVA practice test. Each time you take our test, there are 25 multiple-choice questions to answer, on a rotating basis. Taking the test often increases your chances of seeing new questions and retaining difficult concepts. As you answer and submit each question, you will immediately see if you got the question right. We also show you where in your state's driver's handbook you will find the information if you missed a question. This will allow you to go back and re-read any sections you need to brush up on.

After you have mastered the MVA practice test, on exam day, you can arrive confident and ready to pass. You will be given a 20-minute time limit to answer all 25 questions on the knowledge exam. You need to answer 22 questions correctly, or 85 percent, to pass and move on to taking your practical road test. By passing the test, you are displaying you ability to be a safe and knowledgeable driver.
