How to Pass the Ohio Drivers License Test

If you want to earn an Ohio drivers license, there are three tests that you must pass. These tests aren't exceedingly tricky, but they can be somewhat difficult if you haven't studied and practiced properly. The three exams every driver need to passing include a written exam, a vision-screening exam and an on-the-road driving exam. The written exam is based on two different testing sections, one centered on driving laws and another on the identification of traffic signs. The BMV practice test covers the driving laws section of the Ohio drivers license test.

The OH BMV practice test helps prospective drivers score higher on the actual drivers license test, by being as close in content as possible. You will find that the the practice quiz and written exam cover similar topics and feature a multiple-choice format. They are not exact replicas, so you will not be able to use the answers found on the quiz to pass the Ohio drivers license test. Taking the BMV practice test a number of times will better prepare you for the written exam.

The OH BMV practice test is 20 questions, of which it is up to you to answer of least 16 correctly. Take a look through the Digest of Ohio Motor Vehicle Laws, which offers all of the information needed to successfully take and pass the state's drivers license test. It's also recommended that you take the road signs and signals practice test to further prepare for the other component to the written exam.
