Preparing for the Oregon Teen Permit Drivers Test

There are exams that you will be required to take in order qualify for your Oregon teen permit. Our website is full of information, tips and practice tests that can help you be prepared.

The first resource that we recommend you review is the most recent edition of the Oregon Drivers Manual. All the information that you may be questioned on during your DMV permit test will be found in this manual. It is essential that you read this manual thoroughly and reference it as you study.

Another valuable tool that we provide to aid you in your preparation is an OR permit practice test. Taking a practice test can help ease test-taking anxiety as well as let you see a number of questions that may show up on the official written Oregon teen permit drivers test. We have provided five separate, multiple-choice OR permit practice tests that can be taken an unlimited number of times to help you see as many questions as you feel are necessary to be ready to apply for your Oregon driving permit.

How Our OR Permit Practice Test Works

Our practice tests consist of 25 multiple-choice questions. Upon answering a question, you will see immediately whether you have answered correctly as well as a page reference in the Oregon Drivers Manual directing you to the information that the question was taken from. It may be important to note which questions you have missed and the page number in the manual that you will need to reference as you continue your study. Once you have finished our permit practice test, you will receive a score. In order to receive a passing grade, you must have answered 20 of the 25 questions correctly. Along with your score, you will also be provided with a summary of all 25 questions as well as their corresponding answers. This will guide you toward the information you may need to review further. After you have reviewed, we suggest you retake the practice test multiple times until you have scored 25 correct answers consistently.

We have also provided a road signs and traffic signals practice test in the event that you will see these types of questions on your DMV drivers test. This practice test can also be taken as many times as you wish to help you fully prepare.
