Succeed With the Help of Our CO Permit Practice Test
Part of growing up is learning about the steps required to succeed at anything. The steps to getting a driver's license and the freedom it represents begin with passing your DMV permit test. This test is your chance to prove that you understand the driver safety rules, traffic laws and road signs for Colorado. Understanding this information makes you a better driver once you are on the road. After downloading your copy of the state's driving manual, you will see exactly how much information the test covers. Do not panic. There is a lot to learn, but it's simply new to you. There are not any trick questions or difficult concepts to memorize. Once you start studying, you can quickly learn the information enough to apply it on the road. It's just a matter of putting in the necessary study time and testing your new-found knowledge.
If you are one of those people who gets nervous before a test, our practice exams will help you build confidence and relax ahead of test day. When we wrote the pool of possible questions, we used the driver's manual for your state. This is the same place where the official exam questions come from. While your actual exam can cover anything from traffic laws and road signs to driver safety rules, our practices test your knowledge of the traffic laws. You will need to know how much space you need to merge into oncoming traffic, for example, and the times when you can safely and legally pass a school bus. After submitting an answer, you will see the correct response. If you missed the question, simply write down the displayed page number so that you can go back and study some more. On both your written exam and our practice tests, you will be given 25 multiple-choice questions to answer. On your actual exam, you will need to get 80 percent of the questions correct to get your permit.
