In Nebraska, you will need a special license to operate a motorcycle and some mopeds. You may be required to take a written test as well as a motorcycle skills test to earn your motorcycle license. Driving a motorcycle is very different from driving an automobile. There are many unique requirements for a motorcycle rider. Take advantage of our practice tests to gain the knowledge you need to pass your test.

Nebraska Motorcycle Permit Practice Test Description

Before you take a motorcycle permit practice test, read the Nebraska DMV Motorcycle Operator Manual. Once you feel comfortable with the information in the manual, you can take the Road Signs and Signals practice test. Interpreting signs and signals correctly is vital to safe driving. You can take this practice test multiple times to see randomized questions about road signs. Learn to recognize the various colors and shapes of Nebraska road signs as you repeat the practice test.

There are five versions of the motorcycle practice test. You must answer 20 questions correctly to pass. Our practice tests resemble the Nebraska motorcycle permit exam so that you will gain familiarity with the types of questions you will see. You will be asked questions on how to control your motorcycle and avoid crashes. You should understand how to handle dangerous surfaces and how to get off the road safely. Know the requirements for keeping adequate space between you and other vehicles. Expect to see questions about your responsibility as a motorcycle driver to stay visible to other drivers. There may also be questions on group riding or riding with a passenger. Repeat these practice tests several times to help you prepare for your exam.

You may want to review the Nebraska Drivers Manual before you take your motorcycle permit test. It has additional information that is not in the motorcycle manual. Study well, pass your exam and ride safe.
