PA Permit Practice Test

Every prospective driver must take a number of aptitude tests before receiving their Pennsylvania teen permit. Take our PA permit practice test to help ensure that you pass. If you are considering the possibility of obtaining a drivers license, the only means of doing so is by earning your Pennsylvania driving permit. Earning your permit in Pennsylvania requires that you pass a written exam that focuses on driving rules and road signs and one that puts your driving skills to the test out on the road.

The permit practice test consists of a similar layout to the PennDOT permit test, and you will be quizzed on 20 multiple choice questions. These questions will be displayed to you in random order and cover the topics you'll need to know for the final permit test. You'll be tested on turning at stop lights, the definition of of Pennsylvania's seat belt law and much more. To pass the practice test, you'll need to score 80 percent by correctly answering 16 questions. To prepare yourself for the practice quiz and written test, read through the Pennsylvania Drivers Manual for all of the necessary information.
