Preparing for the Illinois Motorcycle Permit Practice Tests

Our site offers multiple resources for prospective motorcycle operators in the state of Illinois. We provide tips, operator manuals and practice tests to help you prepare.

In the state of Illinois, motorcycle operators are required to obtain an Illinois motorcycle permit in order to legally operate their motorcycle as a resident of the state. There are many rules that only apply to motorcyclists on the road, so it is important for the prospective motorcycle operator to fully understand the rules and regulations before taking the official motorcycle permit test. One of the keys to passing the motorcycle permit test is reviewing the Illinois SOS Motorcycle Handbook. Another valuable resource our site provides is a free motorcycle permit practice test.

Illinois Motorcycle Permit Practice Test

Our motorcycle permit practice test is based on questions that may occur in the Illinois motorcycle permit test. Our test consists of 12 multiple choice questions. You must answer a question before you can navigate to the next one. You can easily backtrack to a previous question in order to change your answer if you feel the need to do so. Once you have completed the test, you will be given a score and be notified how many questions you needed to answer correctly in order to pass. Below your score, you will find a summary of all 12 of the questions in the quiz you have just taken. The answers that were correct will be highlighted in green, while incorrect answers will be red. For each of your incorrect answers, the correct answer will be provided to you for review. You will be given the option to retake the practice test. The test may be taken an unlimited amount of times to help fully prepare for the motorcycle permit test.

Our site also provides many other resources such as tips for first time motorcycle owners, motorcycle test taking tips and insurance requirement information.
